The Fashion & Business Career Exhibition is for YOU, fashionistas! This FREE career event exclusively features fashion- and design-related businesses that operate in the Twin Cities and beyond. With industry speakers presenting on topics such as branding, résumé building and self-promotion in the fashion business, as well as a fashion show and an ongoing networking and career fair featuring representatives from over 30 companies, the Fashion & Business Career Exhibition is an incredible opportunity for students considering a career in fashion. Especially in the fashion industry – and now more than ever – who you know could decide your career success. Do not miss this unique career-development exhibition!

FAB MEMBERS: If you are a current FAB member who has paid your annual membership dues, you have exclusive access to anetworking luncheon prior to the kick-off of the Fashion & Business Career Exhibition! As a paying member you can sit side-by-side representatives from your dream company during this FAB: Fashion & Business lunch. Cost is just $5.00 at the door. To RSVP to this exclusive element of the Career Exhibition, register for the exhibition and luncheon through the Register option under the Career Exhibition tab.

The Fashion & Business Career Exhibition is a unique way for your compnay to reach out to the future of fashion in the Twin Cities. With over 300 members and 1,000 online magazine subscribers, FAB has formed a fashion-centered network amongst students at the University of Minnesota who are motivated to work in this highly competitive and creative business. The Fashion & Business Career Exhibition was established not only as an opportunity for these students to gain insight into the current fashion industry, but also for local, national, and international organizations alike to have direct access to their target market of clients and future employees.

Cost is just $20 and includes setup, parking, and lunch. There are also various sponsorship levels available, including ready-to-wear, runway, and couture, which offer additional exposure for you company and the opportunities you have available.

To register for the Fashion & Business Career Exhibition:

Log-in to your employer account on GoldPASS at goldpass.umn.edu OR create an employer account for your company!
Select “Career Events” in the upper tab bar
In the Career Event Name box type “fashion” or select “Career Fair” from the category options
Click search
Click “Fashion & Business Career Exhibition”
Click the registration button!
You will receive a confirmation packet upon completing your registration
